Did You Know...

... that creepers are well overrated?

Old fashioned creeping: Arizona Airspeed
posted Apr 3rd, 2011 - The videos of Round 8 have been posted, but the clip begins with a special review of Round 7. The NSL News mentioned earlier today that the sequence of Round 7 was a real tunnel sequence, as Round 3 and Round 5 were.

Arizona Airspeed and SDC Rhythm XP found a very special and convenient way to prepare for Round 7. Thomas Hughes filmed it and provided the NSL News with the footage. Preparing sequences on creepers has become a dinosaur training method, and teams have become more creative with sophisticated jump preparations.

It is easy to imagine that teams will never go back to creepers once they have tested the new method, invented by Airspeed and Rhythm members. Is it possible that this creativity is caused by hanging out too much with each other between the rounds...? Here are the videos of Round 8.

SDC Rhythm XP: Back to the creepers after Round 7?
Aerodyne Aerokart Maubeuge posted the second consecutive sole highscore in Round 7. That was after jump preparations with the more traditional methods. Airspeed and Rhythm may now re-consider their new ways. France took the 3rd place with this performance.

NMP-PCH Hayabusa gained another point on Airspeed and is not blinking so far. The Belgians don't even have to think of France as an opponent for the 1st place, and they are again eight points ahead of Airspeed.

Nothing has changed since Round 3, and nothing will change. Hayabusa will maintain the lead, all that Airspeed and France can do is win a round here and there to show that they are still competitive with Hayabusa. It is not really a serious question whether they are strong enough to beat the Belgians. This can happen at the next opportunity, and nobody knows who will be on the top next time. The NSL News will get back to this topic, as well. Scores are next.
