Did You Know...

... that the NSL-TV camera followed the French talent in the chamber?

Laurence Hervé with the Dunkerque B-Team last year
posted Apr 3rd, 2011 - The NSL-TV camera entered the flying chamber ealier than usual for Round 9. It has been interesting to follow the two French national B-Teams who have been going neck to neck through the first eight rounds. They were separated by one single point after Round 8.

8-way world champion and coach Erwan Pouliquen is coaching the French B-Teams. Aerodyne Deep Blue Defender Laurence Hervé competed with one of the B-Teams from Dunkerque at the World Challenge 2010. Her team finished with an 18.7 average last year. Then she was selected for the new French female lineup and stands with a 24.8 average at the moment.

Coaches Erwan Pouliquen and Marin Ferre have their eyes on the young talent, as they always recruit the new members for the national lineups from the B-Teams. Both teams are in the flying chamber one after the other, and they are right next to each other on the leaderboard, as well.

British teams in US territory
The US territory on the ground floor, shared between Arizona Airspeed and SDC Rhythm XP, was temporarily taken over by UK intruders. SonicNutz and Kaizen invaded when the two US teams abandoned the hangout area to fly their Round 9.

It is the creative area where Airspeed and Rhythm probably invented the new methods for jump preparation. There was also talk about a bet that came out of this scenario. Niklas Hemlin is somehow involved in the new affair. The NSL News will follow up. Let's see what the UK teams are coming up with now. There is no Fun Flag at the World Challenge 2011, and other entertainment has to be found.

As expected, the scores of Round 8 did not change much. The French national team eventually took possession of the 3rd place and will keep it. Even the super experienced and talented XL experts cannot keep up with a well trained team on the same skills level. Scores for Round 9 are next.
