Did You Know...

... that CADO and Bodyflight Factum won two of the three skins last weekend?

Continued on Monday: Bodyflight Atlas
posted Apr 26th, 2011 - Not much more happened in Perris over the weekend. The weather did not allow the Norwegian A Class teams at the Viking Challenge to complete any more competition rounds, and the A Class leaderboard remained unchanged.

That's officially the same case for the AAA Class competition. However, Bodyflight Atlas, the B-Team of Denmark's national 4-way project, completed the missing five rounds on Monday and provided the NSL News with the scores, which have been added unofficially to the leaderboard.

Those numbers don't appear on any other leaderboard and are not calculated for any records in the database. It is still interesting to compare the scores with Denmark's C-Team, Bodyflight Factum, who competed in DeLand last weekend at the International Bunny Meet. Atlas finished far ahead of Factum and outscored Bardagi and Final Four DeLand in Round 2 - on a training day...

The videos of the other battle in DeLand are now available and feature the 1-point race between Bodyflight Factum from Denmark and CADO from Sweden. The young Swedish lineup was not really expected to keep up with the more AAA experienced competitors from Denmark.

The CADO members had competed with the same lineup in Sweden's A Class competition last year. They were the only team in this category and posted a 7.6 average at the national championships.

CADO told the NSL News that there will be better participation this year in Sweden, and it will be more interesting in all categories. However, they decided to move straight up into the AAA Class with the complete IPC Open Class dive pool and challenge the Swedish AAA Class veterans this year.

Bodyflight Factum with Coach Solly Williams and Final Four DeLand
The training camp with coach Shannon Pilcher in DeLand prepared CADO well for the competition last weekend. The audience was impressed with the Swedish team's scores, and the Bardagi members cheered for and encouraged their fellow Swedes during the competition.

CADO benefitted from Bodyflight Factum's point deductions. The Swedish team was clean through the whole competition, while Factum lost a total of five points. However, the Danish team was much improved after the 13.6 average at the World Challenge 2011. Factum was only one average point behind the indoor performance at the beginning of this month in Bedford, disregarding the penalties, which speaks for the outdoor skills. The same counts for Bodyflight Atlas who would also outscore themselves significantly (11.8 - 15.0) compared to the Shamrock Showdown 2011.

Both teams performed well enough to steal two skins in the second half of the 6-round meet. CADO won Round 4 after handicap and had a free dinner, including adult beverages, at the Perfect Spot. Bodyflight Factum won Round 6 after handicap and received a free team jump from Skydive DeLand.
