Did You Know...

... that the new Rookie Class videos include Black Majick and Raykipo?

Black Majick backflyers
posted May 9th, 2011 - Raykipo, British Rookie Class winner at the World Challenge 2011 and silver medalist at the UK Nationals 2010, carried the 1st place through last weekend's six rounds and won the A Class competition at the first outdoor meet of the United Kingdom Skydiving League. The NSL News will follow up later with a meet story provided by Kaizen member Jo Hawley.

The NSL News first goes back again to the World Challenge 2011 and completes the coverage of all four competition classes with the Rookie Class story. It is a very interesting part of the whole coverage, not only because the Rookie Class winner now won the A Class competition last weekend, as well.

There is also the Bodyflight Black Majick story that deserves special attention and will get extra coverage later on. Joey Jones had put together a Rookie Class lineup of freeflyers who mastered the ten sequences flying upside down on their backs. Host Paul Mayer was one of the team members. The new NSL-TV video features three Black Majick rounds.

Three teams from Ireland
The final ranking order in the Rookie Class competition was reversed compared to the A Class. Kinetix from Ireland had won the A Class competition over four teams from the United Kingdom. Ireland's Rookie Class team Noo Your Other Left ended up behind the four teams from the other side of the Irish Sea.

The British Rookie Class competitors all formed new lineups for the first outdoor competition last weekend in Netheravon. Raykipo was the only team in this category that came back last weekend after attending the World Challenge 2011.

The video clip features all Rookie Class teams with their last three rounds. Team EB, silver medalist in Bedford, won two of the three last rounds. However, Raykipo made up for the total loss of six points, three in Round 8 and three in Round 10, just by winning Round 9 by seven points. Both teams actually won five rounds each, but Raykipo collected more points overall. Jo Hawley will explain later how Raykipo did in the A Class competition.
