Did You Know...

... that 14 additional teams compete at Skydive City's annual Z-Scramble?

Busy day for TK Hayes and Laura Song
posted May 29th, 2011 - The annual Z-Scramble at Skydive City is still in full swing while some of this weekend's scores have been posted. 14 additional lineups compete for honors and prizes with a separate A Class draw and try to complete four rounds in Zephyrhills.

Teiwaz and the SinnerZ completed six and four rounds on Saturday, and most of yesterday's players are back in the air today with different Z-Scrambles lineups. Oren Kalb and Laura Song are once again very busy organizing participants, videographers and team captains.

DZ Manager TK Hayes supports this event and makes sure that the tandem and student operation runs efficiently at the same time. The two teams on Saturday jumped from a Cessna Grand Caravan, and he has two Twin Otters taking care of today's much busier activities.

Kjetil Nordin finishes up the meet in Perris
Perris Blitz members Kjetil Nordin from Norway and Flemming Andersen from Denmark helped running the second meet of the Southern California Skydiving League at the same time. Kjetil Nordin was the player coach for Lazy Lightening, and Flemming Andersen was filming the team.

They reported a beautiful Saturday from Perris, however, it became a little too windy at the end of the day, and the teams could not complete all scheduled six rounds. Steve Miller was the event judge.

Jan Klapka reported from the Czech Republic that his own team, the Bad Boyz, would be competing this weekend, even though the operation of the new windtunnel in Prague keeps him extremely busy. The scores from the Czech Republic will be added as soon as possible.
