Both teams did not get through their meets without penalties, and the official and unofficial judges in the NSL News audience have the opportunity to train and sharpen their eyes. Elisabet Pettersson and Zeljko Tanaskovic evaluated the competition jumps in Sweden, while Gary Taylor was one of the judges at Skydive Chicago.
Bardagi and Airspeed both lost two points in Round 2, even though the sequence (13-20-Q) was one of the slowest of the meet. There are usually more infringements in the faster rounds, as the slower sequences make it easier for the judges to follow the action and for the teams to synchronize the moves.
The NSL News did not see the score sheets for any of the rounds, however, Airspeed probably lost all three points within a few seconds and at the same situation. It was the beginning of the 4th page where the trouble began with an incomplete Stairstep Diamond, which interrupted the flow. It took Airspeed a few seconds to get back in synch and move on, but the damage was done.
Bardagi had the additional trouble in Round 4 where the judges deducted another two points from the 18 completed points in working time.

Bardagi finished officially with a 15.3 average after six rounds. The 4-point difference would bring the Swedish team to a 16.0 average. The combination of the 17.8 average at the International Bunny Meet and the 16.0 potential last weekend may indicate where Bardagi stands at the moment.
Bardagi can show the team's best at the World Cup 2011 where Airspeed will not attend. The Swedish Nationals 2011 are scheduled after the World Cup, and Bardagi will have a second opportunity to peak this year. However, the tougher competition is surely waiting in Germany. Airspeed has not scheduled any other meets so far before the USPA Nationals in October.
