posted Jun 22nd, 2011 - Two of the 38 teams last weekend competed in the Mideast Skydiving League at Start Skydiving. Both came back after also attending the MESL 2011 season opener in May. Jenacity competed in the AA Class, while the Bushwackers came back for the second meet in the Rookie Class competition.

MESL Director and Tenacity/Jenacity member Joan Esson reported that the weather was very challenging last weekend at Start Skydiving. There was rain on Saturday morning, and good spotting was essential to avoid clouds. The weather conditions limited the Rookie Class team to only completing four of the six anticipated rounds.

Start Skydiving home team Tenacity was missing two of their regular team mates this time. Joan Esson (Center Otside) and Arianna Williams (Point) were in their regular positions. Tenacity again picked up John Hart III to form Jenacity, and the Center Inside of the May meet competed in the Tail slot this time. Team videographer Beth Shell joined the lineup in the Center Inside slot, while Michelle Albers was filming the team this time. Joan Esson said that Event Judge and former ISL/MESL Director Randy Connell followed the impromptu slot switch in the AA Class in the second round of the meet with great interest...
