posted Sep 6th, 2005 - How much more exciting can it get? It was almost unthinkable but it happened, the Golden Knights lost their 2-point advantage in the last round. Both teams are tied after ten rounds, and they just took off for the jump-off. DeLand Fire delivered a solid performance without taking any chances, and the Golden Knights suffered a bad Block 18 and got stuck with 18 points within working time.

The NSL News leaves it up to the audience and to the experts to forecast the outcome of the jump-off. It is a sequence of only Random Formations (O - G - B - L - Q). Is it a world record sequence? The judges are ready to push the buttons for a new record performance, while the 4-way experts say that the sequence is not fast enough.

Tim Wagner thinks that the Golden Knights are not only physically stronger, they also have the mental strength by the end of competition days. The NSL News adds that this is not a very physical jump and does not require the stamina as a sequence with blocks would require. DeLand Fire also has the momentum and the psychological advantage after winning round ten and forcing the Army team into a jump-off.
