The leaderboard of the male 4-way competition shows better what the previous article tried to bring up. The German team is still in 2nd place after three rounds, five points ahead of the Golden Knights and only five points behind NMP-PCH Hayabusa. It is unthinkable that the Germans will be able to get closer to one of the best 4-way teams in the world. However, they outscored Hayabusa in Round 2, which is impressive enough.
Hayabusa has given up competition rounds only to Arizona Airspeed or Aerodyne Aerokart this year. It must have been surprising that the completely unknown German team managed to steal a round in Brazil. The NSL News is still working on more information about the German underdog and will hopefully introduce the team more in detail soon.

Training and competition practice have paid back for the Brazil X-Dogs, the Qatar Falcons and Fast Air from Ireland, as well. The NSL News introduced the Brazilian 4-way team during the coverage of the Valentine's Meet 2011. It will be impossible for the X-Dogs to get to a medal position, as Brazil's female Fenix lineup has done so far. However, the 4th place would also be a very respectable result and great success for the home team. The X-Dogs are trying to hold off the team from Spain.
The NSL News introduced the Qatar Falcons when the team visited DeLand for a training camp in June/July to prepare for the CISM Championship. The story on 6 July 2011 included videos of training jumps and of an NSL Talk with the team members and coach Solly Williams.
Team member Colin Curran reported that things are going well for his team after a 41-hour travel experience to Rio. Fast Air had a training camp in Kolomna, Russia, the week before and completed 70 training jumps done in preparation for the CISM competition. The team members enjoyed meeting Hayabusa again and chatting with the Golden Knights.
Colin Curran said that a busy duty schedule for the Irish Defence Forces was also in the way of an additional trip to Germany. Fast Air plans to compete at the Dubai Championship 2011 instead: "Budget and schedule allow us to compete at the Dubai Cup at the end of the year, which we are really looking forward to, and we are planning on attending as many meets next year as we can."
