Did You Know...

... that NSL-TV captured the first reactions after landing from round ten?

DeLand Fire landing from round ten - see video
posted Sep 7th, 2005 - While Arizona Airspeed, the Golden Knights and the judges prepared for the fast sequence of round three, which offered the opportunity for a new world record, the NSL News now goes back to yesterday's 4-way events.

The NSL-TV camera was in the landing area when DeLand Fire and the Golden Knights landed from their round ten and captured the first impressions of the teams right after landing. The reactions were actually according to the outcome of the jump although nobody knew by then that a jump-off was an option. Click here to watch the video.

The DeLand Fire members were very happy with their performance, while it was quiet when the Golden Knights gathered in the landing area. The teams walked back to the packing area together and were then asked to meet at the stage for the live judging, while the videographers visited the judging room for the dubbing procedure.

The crowd welcomed the teams on the stage and was almost breathless when the Golden Knights had a problem with Block 18 and ended up with 18 points. The audience then went wild when DeLand Fire scored 20 points in time and forced the Army team into the jump-off. NSL-TV has to locate the most exciting part of the footage on stage and will present it later.

The NSL News will also follow up with a summary of the very exciting finale of the AA Class competition. Stay tuned.
