Once again, the new leaderboard also includes the penalties in those two rounds and brings back to memory Round 9 in the 8way event. All female 4way teams had a clean Round 2 and lost a total of seven points in Round 1. Three of the seven point deductions were due to "camera angle / grip visibility", as the official score sheets show.
Norway's national team Polaris lost the exit point, a Murphy Flake (C), and Bodyflight Aerodyne's first two points out the door did not count.

Nobody will seriously question that both formations were complete, even though both videos were challenging for the judge's eyes for different reasons. The second cat grip of Polaris Tail Sissel Maria Finnseth would probably require some positive guessing. However, the last seven seconds of the Golden Knights working time in 8way needed a lot of positive guessing, as well, and they got all points. Polaris was not so lucky.
Looking back, the Norwegian team probably did not mind too much, as the bronze medals were a great accomplishment for the team's consistent progression. The Polaris performance in Round 2 shows the potential of the team even better.
The French ladies surely benefitted from the point deductions of all other teams in Round 1. However, they did not really need the support, even though Russia's Illusions won three rounds over France. At the end, the Defenders were 22 points ahead of the team in 2nd place.
The 18.9 average tied the Russian team Gradient Alpha in 5th place of the 4way Open Class competition. The previous Deep Blue lineup had finished with a 20.4 average at the World Cup 2009 in Prostejov, which was only good enough for a 6th place in the Open Class competition of 2009. The indirect and very friendly race between the old and the new French lineup seems to be open at the moment.
