Did You Know...

... that three 8way teams competed at the Dutch Nationals?

M8Trix at the World Cup 2011
posted Aug 24th, 2011 - The NSL News continues with the review of the 8way competition at the World Cup 2011.

The videos of Round 5 and the extended leaderboard with the point deductions are now available.

The reason for the 8way priority at the moment is a simple one.

Some of the 8way teams who competed in Germany have been back in action in the meantime, as well as several 4way teams.

The Brit Chicks could not take the top spot in the United Kingdom where the experienced defending champion, Microclim8, won the gold medals.

It was different in the Netherlands. M8Trix competed as the national at the World Cup in Germany and then won the national championship in 8way two weeks later.

Rogier Carper, head of the Dutch delegation at the World Cup in Germany, provided the scores of the three 8way teams that competed in the Netherlands.

M8Trix was the only team in the Open Class and did not have to work hard to win the title.

However, the team was under internal pressure to improve performance and scores of the World Cup.

Rogier Carper said that M8Trix did a terrific job with a score of 101 points and the 10.1 average.

The team was very happy with this result, as the 8.2 average at the World Cup was somehow disappointing after performing much better in the training jumps prior to the competition in Germany.

There were two teams competing in Dutch 8way Intermediate Class. Wortel 64 consisted of current and past Cool Runnings members and some ringers. Teuge Gr8Way consisted of a mix of jumpers of last year's only 8way team at the nationals championship, Teuge/Yacht Angels.
