Did You Know...

... that Southern California outscored Florida easily last weekend?

Hannah Betts with Alpha Armada in Dubai
posted Oct 1st, 2011 - Five teams from Southern California competed together with four teams from Florida last weekend, while nine teams have launched this weekend's competition of the Northern Plains Skydiving League.

The teams in Perris last weekend outscored the teams in Florida. The NPSL teams are alone this weekend, as no other meets are scheduled.

The FSL teams at Skydive Miami last weekend had the A Class competition for themselves, while Teiwaz South and Miami Dropouts had to put up with the SCSL teams and had no chance.

Perris Air Rush outscored Teiwaz South with a 13.5 average in the AAA Class, and Elsinore Legacy won the AA Class competition with an 11.5 average.

Four meets in 2011: Elsinore Legacy
Perris Fury member Chris Farina provided the information from Perris and mentioned that his own team is in the final preparations for the USPA Nationals 2011. Fury has a few more training camps coming up at home before heading to Arizona.

AAA Class winner Perris Air Rush is a player coach lineup with Hannah Betts, 4way world champion of 2008 in the female category.

She moved to California last year and competed with US team Alpha Armada at the Dubai Championship 2011. Air Rush could become a serious contender for this year's AAA/Advanced Class competition at the USPA Nationals.

The same counts for Elsinore Legacy in the AA/Intermediate Class competition.who attended their 4th meet of the 2011 season.

The 11.5 average of last weekend would have won the silver medals at the USPA Nationals 2009 and the 4th place of 31 teams at last year's USPA Nationals. There are still a few weeks for the final preparations and some extra training.
