Joey Jones and Marin Ferre, both 4way coaches for the two top teams Aerodyne Aerokart and NMP-PCH Hayabusa, started the Saturday for the NSL News with a new round of the popular NSL Coaching Corner. They did not have much to say about their own teams since the competition in the 4way Open Class was pretty much over as of the gold and silver medal positions.
They discussed more extensively the competition for the bronze medals between the Russian teams Sky Panthers Barkli and Gradient Alpha who both tried to catch the German team Paratec-Saar. However, the first topic was the situation in 8way, which was the most interesting one at this point in time.

After discussing the race between Russia and Germany for bronze medals Joey Jones mentioned that Aerokart Aerodyne would score only 22-pointers as the first team in history. Marin Ferre explained how he brought up his national team with a new member so quickly back to the top level: He did not change anything...
The video clip then shows the live judging of the last round in the female 4way event and the winning team enjoying the early finish. The NSL News also found bronze medal winner Polaris with the complete lineup cheering the 8way teams on their way to boarding for Round 9. Trude Sviggum, IPC Chair of the FS Competition Committee, provided a quick summary of her impressions.
Then it was time to celebrate the French 4way victory, and team videographer Olivier Henaff did this right after landing with a French beer. His 4way team mates could not join him since they had to continue with Round 9 in 8way. There was a longer break after 4way was completed, as the NSL News reported with earlier stories, and then the Saturday story continues with 8way and the final showdown. The NSL-TV camera shot the very last clip of the World Cup coverage in the judging room...
