The Airspeed coverage started with a big boom, literally. The team members were discussing the training activities when a deafening explosion interrupted the conversation, and debris was flying around outside of the team room. Airspeed took it with humor and made fun of the situation. Niklas Hemlin said that it was probably an attack planned by Aerodyne Aerokart and NMP-PCH Hayabusa, their biggest international challengers from France and Belgium.
The atmosphere in the Airspeed environment was generally very relaxed and did not indicate at all that a very important competition is about to begin. Airspeed does not only have to win to become USPA's national 4way team in 2012. The expecations are very high, and Airspeed also wants to show that the US team can keep up with France and Belgium.

The trip to the boarding area at Skydive Arizona always includes a free ride on a special makeshift trailer to the boarding area before the next, more costly, plane ride to jump altitude. The clip takes the audience on such a free ride and shows the boarding procedures.
It doesn't take long until the parachutes bring the teams back to the ground, and Airspeed ends up back in the team room a few minutes later. Debriefing of the training jump begins soon after, and the NSL-TV camera captured the 42-pointer (B,F,K,J,7) for a fast sequence. Airspeed had another training jump on the afternoon agenda.
