It is pure coincidence that exciting news came from Germany just a few days after the Polaris update. ISB Air Remscheid is coming back with the same lineup and has secured great support to make it quickly back to the top level of female 4way competition after almost a 1-year break.
ISB Air Remscheid had Susa Serra in the lineup at the World Meet 2011 in Menzelinsk and placed 4th with an 18.0 average, eight points behind the bronze medal position. Susa Serra stepped back at the end of the 2010 season, and Petra van Overveld took the Point slot.

The German team had to withdraw from the competition and eventually canceled all plans for the 2011 season, except for the World Challenge 2011 where coach Gary Smith took the Center Outside slot. The new video shows the ten competition rounds at the World Challenge 2011 where Gary Smith helped the team to 22.3 average after ten rounds.
Sarah Hajooze has now recovered well enough to resume 4way training, and ISB Air Remscheid is ready for a comeback under the umbrella of a new support group.
In fact, he also recruited the first German female 4way lineup that competed at the World Meet 2001 in Spain. Klaus Mathies has a strong partner with Michael Friedrich, who is running a skydiving and jump plane operation in Magedburg where ISB Air Remscheid will train and provide coaching and load organizing services during the German summer season. Klaus Mathies plans to help building up the skydiving center in Magdeburg to a major training center in Germany.
In addition, the windtunnel in Bottrop (Indoor Skydiving Bottrop) continues with the support for the team. All together, the environment for ISB Air Remscheid seems to promise a lot for the new team plans. It also appears as if the team has not lost too much ground, as most of the other top contenders are in rebuilding phases, as well. It could become a very exciting 2012 season in the female 4way competition.
