posted Dec 16th, 2011 - The NSL News mentioned with the first announcement of the SDC Rhythm XP tryouts on 15 December 2011 that "there are more candidates now and some of them with high profiles..."

This mention was related to the fact that the Rhythm 2009 tryouts had only three candidates, and none of them came from a higher scoring and performance level compared to Rhythm's team history.

This is very different this time. There was a selection process that included a good number of potential candidates who came from all kind of talent and experience levels.

The field of candidates also had top talent, such as Satori's former Point and Throw Down member Katie Woods.

However, the quality of the tryouts came to its peak when Perris Fury's Center Inside Chris Farina and Center Outside Christy Frikken confirmed that they were interested in the open Rhythm slot, as well.

Perris Fury did not have a complete lineup any longer after the 3rd Dubai Championship 2011. Tail Uli Steuwe announced that he would step back after the completion of the meet, and Fury has made no plans yet what do do from here on.

The options for the remaining two original Perris Fury members include the Center Inside slot for SDC Rhythm XP. It is not the only option for Christy Frikken and Chris Farina. It is the one that came up quickly after coming back from Dubai where they discussed the upcoming tryouts with the Rhythm members.

They have not decided yet whether they will come back with a new Fury lineup or not. They both know that they will continue with their professional skydiving business and the Fury projects in Perris.

However, the Center Inside slot for SDC Rhythm XP is also a very attractive option and may be pursued one way or another, by one Fury member or the other. The new video clip features Christy Frikken's tryout session.
