It was also slightly easier for the former Fury engine to keep up with the Rhythm 3way. Thiago Gomes, JaNette and Steve Lefkowitz had three very intensive flying sessions behind where they all had 30 minutes of flying time with each of the previous candidates. Rodney Cruce, Flemming Borup Andersen and Christy Frikken did their best to challenge the Rhythm members who had to be on full alert all the time.
Then it was Chris Farina's turn, and there was some fatigue to a certain degree in the Rhythm quarters. Chris Farina has been familiar with the Rhythm pace and faster for years and did not have to test his limits in his own slot.
However, the video shows that the three Rhythm members had still enough energy for Chris Farina to make this tryout 4way look very good, as well.
The next tryout for Chris Farina was on a lower level and successful. Christy Frikken, Josh Hall and Uli Steuwe were looking for a 4th member in 2005 and had their own candidates for the open slot.
Chris Farina won the tryout and got the Center Inside slot that he still has. As Christy Frikken, he is also committed to continue with the Fury projects in Perris if they train and compete with Rhythm.
It will be a tough call for the three Rhythm members. They have a problem, and it is a good one. They first collected as much information of each candidate before the invitation to Paraclete XP. They they interviewed them before the flying session for approx. an hour.
A short debriefing followed after the tunnel time and wrapped up each tryout session. The NSL News will follow up as soon as some new information leaks out of the Rhythm headquarters.
