Did You Know...

... that the World Cup 2005 will once again offer the Omniskore/NSL News combination?

NSL News at the Mondial 2003
posted Oct 7th, 2005 - The series of exciting 4-way and 8-way Formation Skydiving competitions with NSL News participation continues on a regular basis. The coverage of the regular National Skydiving League season, along with meet stories of many international meets around the world, has been part of the normal NSL News operation for a long time.

Naturally, the NSL Playoffs and NSL Championship events have always found special attention in the NSL history. The World Championship of Formation Skydiving in Gap, France, the Mondial 2003, was the first event where the NSL News went a step further and created special event coverage at the NSL website for a major event.

NSL News interview at the Malevsky Cup 2005
The success of the Mondial 2003 coverage encouraged the NSL News to consider more live coverage directly from competition site of high-profile events. It was easy enough to increase the quality of the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2004 coverage on home turf in DeLand.

The Russian invitation to cover the Malevsky Cup 2004 was the next step in the NSL News progression of live event coverage. NSL-TV video files of the competition jumps, uploaded shortly after or at the same time of the judging, became part of the NSL News coverage in Russia, as well as several interviews.

NSL News interview in Perris
The NSL News traveled to Croatia the same year and reported from the World Meet 2004 with the same features. The 2005 season began once again with the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2005 on home turf, and the second NSL trip to the Malevsky Cup 2005 in Russia followed in July. The NSL News event coverage became more efficient every time.

The organizers of next year's World Championship of Formation Skydiving in Germany already invited the NSL News to provide the same and even better event coverage in 2006 after evaluating the NSL News work at the earlier events. However, there were still other events to cover in the meantime.

Omniskore power in Perris
The NSL News recently traveled to Perris to cover the USPA Nationals 2005 and introduced a very new feature on NSL-TV. Live interviews with teams and competitors, along with scenes from the competition site, became a regular part of the NSL News stories.

The 2005 season is not over yet. In fact, another high-profile event begins in two weeks, the IPC World Cup 2005. Skydive Arizona in Eloy is the event host and has also invited the NSL News to provide the same event coverage as at the earlier events this year.

IPC World Cup 2005
The final arrangements were recently agreed on, and the NSL News will begin to set up the event pages very soon. Previews of the World Cup 2005 and introduction of the attending teams will follow.

The event in Eloy promises more world class competition this year, and many of the international teams that have already been mentioned earlier this year will make for exciting news stories later this month. Most of the best 4-way and 8-way teams in the world have signed up for the World Cup 2005 and will guarantee more than enough information and footage for great NSL News event coverage. The successful combination and cooperation of Omniskore and NSL News will be able to make the event coverage complete and enjoyable for everybody. Stay tuned for updates.
