... that Airspeed and Italy joined for a 16-way at the end of the meet?

The 8-way event was not completely over after round six. Arizona Airspeed and Italy's Ex3mo decided to finish the first competition of the 2006 season together with a 16-way fun jump. Both teams had worked hard throughout the six rounds of the 8-way competition, and the 16-way offered a casual way to end the day.
The NSL News was still on site when the teams began to prepare for the 16-way and followed the jump preparations with the NSL-TV video camera. Some comments were captured, including Thomas Hughes' plans to start a 50-way competition in the near future and Marco Arrigo's update on his health.
The NSL News will follow up with an evaluation of the 8-way competition later on. At this point, the 16-way fun jump and the jump preparations can be viewed by clicking here or on the link under the image of the sequence.
