... that the NSL News prepares the special event coverage for the World Meet 2006?

Arizona Airspeed at the Valentine's Meet
posted Apr 1st, 2006 - Time is running by very quickly. Two major events of the 2006 season are already in the history books, the SSL Valentine's Meet 2006 and the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2006. The NSL News has already mentioned other upcoming major events of the 2006 season several times, including the World Meet 2006 in Germany.

The stories of the previous major events this year mentioned the World Meet many times since several national teams already competed in 2006 and will appear on the NSL on-line scoreboard at least once again this year - at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2006.

Italy Ex3mo at the Valentine's Meet
The Italian 8-way team Ex3mo and Arizona Airspeed posted the first 8-way scores of the 2006 season in February in Eloy. The national 4-way teams from USA, Italy, Norway and Denmark competed at the Shamrock Showdown. Each of these teams will is already qualified for the World Meet.

The NSL News is already qualified for the World Meet, as well. The German event management invited the NSL News to cover the Formation Skydiving competition. Omniskore's judging program and DZ-TV will be used in Gera, while the scores, NSL-TV, stories and other usual features of the NSL event coverage will comprehensively be presented at the NSL website.

The World Meet event pages have now been created, and the NSL News will regularly add updates and new information. A new link with the World Meet logo has also been set on top of the homepage for easier navigation.

The official website of the German World Meet management already provides some information, including details of the event agenda and schedule. The first official bulletin offers crucial information for the participating teams in English. Additional details on the "infos" page is also posted in English.

The German event management is making great efforts to present the event to the public in an appealing way. A professional PR agency is in charge to spread the skydiving word around the world. The NSL News will be involved in putting together the information that will be used for the PR campaign.

The NSL News looks forward to the event in August this year and will do everything possible to bring the event to the worldwide audience up close and personal. The German event management is motivated to support the NSL News efforts as much as possible and to offer a new level of on-line event coverage.
