Did You Know...

... that the missing videos of rounds seven and eight are now available?

posted Apr 13th, 2006 - NSL-TV recently fell slightly behind the power curve when some video files of the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2006 were not available. Three jumps of round seven were missing, including Team Fastrax, CSC Sirens and Eva's Revenge. Round seven is now almost complete, only Eva's Revenge got lost in cyberspace...

Eight videos of round eight have already been available for a while, including the Fastrax 17-pointer for 16-A-20. Only the videos of Sinapsi PD, DeLand Fire, Norway Arcteryx and Denmark Danez have been missing. The suspense of the NSL-TV audience was understandably on a very high level, and the NSL News apologizes for the delay.

The missing videos of round eight have now been uploaded and can be viewed on the NSL-TV page or within the scoring table of the Shamrock Showdown page, while the missing videos of round seven have been added to the NSL-TV page of the previous rounds of this event.

The previous NSL News stories of the Shamrock Showdown already commented the fact that Italy's Sinapsi PD gained momentum and confidence round by round after a better start compared to other meets in Sinapsi's team history. DeLand Fire realized that the Italian team would most likely not step back or make significant mistakes. It was time to do something.

The videos of the second half of the meet, especially toward the end of the competition, seem to show that DeLand Fire really tried to go harder and increase the pace. However, Sinapsi PD did not bend and was still always a little bit ahead of the US national team.

Round eight was another step of the Italian team to win the first place at this event. DeLand Fire missed the completition of the subterminal Block 16 (Compressed Accordean - Box) and lost one point for a missing grip at the Piver of Block 20 (Piver - Viper) on the first page. That was too much damage to keep up with the flawless Italian team in this round. Sinapsi PD added to more points to the lead and was now five points ahead of DeLand Fire.

The next round of the Shamrock Showdown will be uploaded soon. In the meantime, the meet videos of the second Southwest Skydiving League 2006 competition have arrived at the NSL headquarters, and the first round of the event will be available for the NSL-TV audience very soon, as well. Stay tuned.
