Did You Know...

... that the Indiana Skydiving League is gearing for the 2004 season?

posted Mar 25th, 2004 - Hey everybody!   The 2004 season for the Indiana Skydiving League opens in just one week! If you all are as ready for this as I am, you have been anxious for the weather to break the rest of the way for a while now! This year the ISL will open the season with our 4way skills camp!     BS!!!!!  And this is the time to prove yourself mistaken! Our skills camp this year has some exciting changes from last year, designed to make the camp more fun and more accessible for jumpers of ALL experience levels! I think it will also prove to be a fun time for everyone involved! Take this chance to come out and have a look at 4 way from the inside with our coaches: David Hart and Bob Akers, formerly of Team Fastrax! These two extraordinary flyers flew the point and tail slots for Fastrax last year and have VOLUNTEERED their time to come share that experience with ALL of us! Between them, they have well over 1000 jumps in 4way and over 100 hours of tunnel time! Thanks to their gracious offer to come out and work with us for FREE, there is NO REGISTRATION FEE to attend this camp. The camp will run from Friday evening the 16th, through Sunday the 18th at Skydive Wayne County, Richmond!Things will kick off Friday evening with a Team Building Seminar hosted by yours truly, Randy Connell. During this seminar we will look at the essential elements of putting teams together! From skills to personalities to team goals! This will also serve as an opportunity for those not currently on team to meet with others in a similar situation and begin putting a team together, at least for the 2004 season!Saturday, David and Bob will be presenting a number of sessions about 4way techniques ranging from individual body flight tips to engineering issues and mental preparation! These classroom session will be interspersed with skydives (weather permitting) throughout the day to allow everybody to put the knowledge to work! One of the great things about these guys is that they "grew up" in the sport in our area and are intimately familiar with how we think about 4way. This will allow them to make sense of a lot of information that only teams in the south have been taking advantage of for years!I do need an approximate head count for the number of folks who are going to take advantage of this outstanding opportunity! Please send me a quick email and let me know you are coming! You can also reach me at 859-278-5831 to let me know!Questions?  Fire away at this email address or give me a call!Don't miss this opportunity to come get some FREE coaching and FREE information!  It is going to be an awesome time!!!!Blue Skies!Randy Connell, ISL Director
