The new round of NSL-TV features once again teams competing at the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2004. The coverage includes DeLand Majik and Italy's Sinapsi PD. Yesterday, the NSL audience was offered the opportunity to compare France Maubeuge and the U.S. national team indirectly with each other while doing their random work. The ten rounds of the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2004 had DeLand Majik and Sinapsi PD competing on site directly with each other. France Maubeuge, DeLand Majik and Sinapsi PD are expected to be the only gold medal contenders at this year's IPC Anton Malevsky Memorial World Cup and at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2004.
Round eight of the Shamrock Showdown continued to show Majik's dominance over the challenger from Italy in March 2004 at Skydive DeLand. Both teams had a flaw on the first page of the sequence (8-14-E) but finished the rest of the jump without major problems. Majik still had the upper hand in the technical part, as well as with the random work. Sinapsi PD was hit quite hard by the momentum of the subterminal Block 8 (Canadian T - Canadian T), while Majik just needed a little bit of extra time to complete the first Block 14 (Bipole - Bipole). The DeLand team applies a different technique than Sinapsi PD for Block 8, which addresses specifically the subterminal move. The Genesis reunion at this event had another highlight when the team managed to tie the Italian national team's score in this round. Genesis competed at the Shamrock Showdown after one day of training since the team discontinued in 2002. The Danez, DeLand Mojo and Optic Nerve all posted 13 points after great and energetic performances. Sebastian Teiwaz stole the second point from the Danez after a dead-locked race over the previous six rounds. The 4Tunates, competing as a guest team from the Netherlands, did not only show their player coach, Genesis member and DeLand Majik alternate Shannon Pilcher, great results with a beautiful execution of Block 8 in the A Class. The team's videographer once again used his creativity to entertain the audience with his special team announcement on the video slate. Enjoy the new NSL-TV show, Joey Jones' interview with the NSL News is next.
