posted Sep 9th, 2003 - The 4-way competition needs a miracle now to keep it interesting for the audience. We might have expected a team to win a round by three points in the next fast round six. France Maubeuge must have jumped on another planet in round five for two reasons. They 21 they posted for the slow sequence D-22-4 left the rest of the field in the dust. The Golden Knights, Norway and Russia had a hard time to get to the 18 as the second best score for this round. Secondly and unfortunately, the crowd never got the chance to see this phenomenal performance. Transmission problems to the public screen occured when the judges reviewed France's round five. However, the score from the other planet was finally posted. And there is only one chance left for the needed miracle to happen. Round six has the fastest sequence of the competition. And round six is coming up next.

French national coach Jerome David had the chance now to relax for a moment and enjoy the environment together with his family. Meet Director Patrice Girardin had set up a wonderful show for the Wednesday afternoon, which was made for the visiting children from the Hautes Alpes region. Girardin had a special surprise for the crowd that he explained to the NSL News: "See, I am not the only trouble-maker in my family. The clown over there is my brother." And he pointed to the leader of the comedy show who made the whole crowd, including the NSL News reporter, crack up laughing almost for hours. The spectators had the choice between watching the skydives on the large screen and the entertainment around it, or do both. It was a great show.
