Let's say it this way: France was surely not affected much by anything, neither physically nor mentally. It was once again a very long day for the French 4-way team. But they went their way and posted another highscore for round six. In fact, France Maubeuge had the highest score for a round in five of the six jumps. It does not look as if anything can stop them from bringing the gold medal back to France. The fastest round of the meet is over and nothing has changed, except that the French lead is now up to seven points. The dominance of the team from Maubeuge is quite obvious.
The Golden Knights in second place allowed the DeLand Norgies to move a little bit closer. The Norgies posted the second highest score of the round with their 36 points and have never been so close to the silver medal position. They will look forward to the remaining four rounds and the chance to catch up even more. The sequence of this round was not as fast as it might have looked like. Teams had to keep it calm and clean, and the judges needed sharp eyes. Sebastian XL and Sinapsi PD both went a little slower pace than the three top teams and slipped further away from the bronze medal position. Russia received two very unfortunate penalties when the video angle did not show separation between the end of Block 9 (Cat+Acc - Cat+Acc) and the Murphy Flake and fell far behind. Switzerland and Belgium both passed the Russian team on the way up.
