Did You Know...

... that the latest results of the NSL SkyVenture Competition have been posted?

posted May 31st, 2004 - The May 22 - 23 weekend information is now complete. The Ranch Formation Skydiving League provided the missing scores of a competition in the northeastern area of the country that was also effected by weather. Storms in the northern parts of the USA began last weekend and are still hammering the Midwest. The Michigan Skydiving League meet in Tecumseh was completely weathered out, while the Ranch Formation Skydiving League managed to attract four teams to the drop zone and the competition despite the bad forecast. All scores of the May 22 - 23 weekend are posted below.

The NSL News also completed the results of the NSL SkyVenture Competition for the same weekend. Even though teams competed in each of the four competition classes, only 10-minute tunnel time certificates were on the stake for the winners. None of the classes reached the limit of five teams or more that qualifies the winner for 30-minute awards. However, Good Vibrations (AAA - MWSL), Ranch CG (AA - RSL), the Furies (A - MWSL) and the Nite Hookers (Rookies - MWSL) will still each be honored with ten minutes of free SkyVenture tunnel time for their efforts to beat the inclement weather.

The winners of the NSL SkyVenture Competition can once again choose whether they would like to use the free tunnel time in Orlando, Florida, or in Perris, California. Both SkyVenture wind tunnels support the NSL SkyVenture Competition. The certificates will be mailed to the league directors who hand them out to the teams. All teams of the May 22 - 23 weekend attended their first meet of the 2004 season. Thus, the handicap was based on the average after the first three rounds of the meet. All teams in the AAA, AA and A Class completed six rounds. The next scores will come from Georgia after the Memorial Day weekend.
