posted Jun 4th, 2004 - The wait is over. The NSL SkyVenture Competition certificates are now available. The NSL headquarters will begin mailing them to the league directors today who will then hand them out at the next meets. The NSL News reported earlier this year that Perris SkyVenture joined SkyVenture Orlando for the 2004 season to make the NSL SkyVenture Competition even more attractive and convenient for the winners. Both SkyVenture operations in Perris, California, and Orlando, Florida, agreed to work together with the NSL headquarters and offer the same prizes as in the past two years.

Trevor Thompson, Vice President Operations of SkyVenture LLC, created the new certificates, which include the confirmation by both wind tunnel operations in Orlando and Perris. The winning teams of the NSL SkyVenture Competition can choose between the two locations and make their own reservations after receiving the certificates. The certificates have only little restrictions since they cannot be used as part of scheduled tunnel camps or other special bookings and on weekend nights after 5 pm. They expire on June 15, 2005, which gives the winners plenty of time to use them.

NSL meets were held on eight different weekends this year so far, with the Southwest Skydiving League launching the 2004 season on February 14 in Eloy (Valentine's Meet) and the latest meet on May 22. The results of the NSL SkyVenture Competition on each of these meet weekends have already been posted earlier. SkyVenture Orlando and Perris SkyVenture agreed to work together from the beginning of the 2004 season. Below is a list of the teams that have won these meets after handicap and will receive the certificates of free tunnel time at the next meets.

23 different teams have already won free tunnel time. AA Class team Imagination of the Carolina Skydiving League is the biggest winner so far with a total of 60 minutes SkyVenture tunnel time. Arizona Blade and DeLand Majik have collected 45 minutes each in the AAA Class at this point. Three other teams have won 30 minutes. CaSL Rookie Class team Missing Slot has collected 20 minutes of tunnel time. 14 other teams have collected 10 minutes each so far. No meets are scheduled for this weekend. The next NSL SkyVenture Competition is up on the June 12-13 weekend. New NSL-TV is next.
