Did You Know...

... that Sinapsi PD scored 20.7 at the Italian Championship 2004?

Italian national team Sinapsi PD
posted Aug 30th, 2004 - 13 teams attended the Italian Championship 2004 in the Intermediate 4-way class, while 10 teams competed in the Open Class. The names of the winning teams are familiar ones. The winner of the Intermediate Class competition, Fast & Furious, competed as a guest team at the NSL 4-way competition of SkyQuest 2003. F&F finished with a 6.8 average at Fantasy of Flight last November and took the first place in Italy in August with an 11.2 average.

It was no surprise that Sinapsi PD won the Open Class competition. The 20.7 average after ten rounds indicates that Sinapsi PD is recovering after a disappointing fourth place at the Malevsky Cup 2004. Only the scores for rounds one and seven seem to be lower than expected. The Swiss national 4-way team Endeavour competed as a guest team in Italy and was only one point behind in round one and even tied Sinapsi in round seven.

The Italian national team of IPC's Women Class, Kewara, finished in fourth position with a 14.4 meet average after nine rounds. The second round of the meet with all its scores was removed from the competition draw due to a number of protests, which reduced the number of meet rounds to nine.
