posted Aug 15th, 2006 - The NSL News was actually planning to follow up later on the World Meet 2006 with more stories and information. The live action at the Malevsky Cup 2006 in Russia does not allow enough time to cover much of other events. However, there were requests to follow up on the promise of live videos of the award ceremony in Germany.

NSL-TV, currently located in Russia, quickly edited and uploaded the video of the ceremony, which can now be viewed by clicking here. This video covers only the 4-way award ceremony and the presentation of the 4-way Excalibur. The videos of the other parts of the award ceremony, 4-way female and 8-way, will be added later.

The DeLand Fire members were emotional when they had to climb up onto the podium. Natasha Montgomery had to wipe off a few tears, and there were very happy faces when the medals were presented. However, the most exciting part was probably when former DeLand Majik members Solly Williams and Doug Park handed over the sword.

The 4-way ceremony was the last one of the three Formation Skydiving events. The third different national anthem followed the presentation of the medals and Excalibur and concluded the official award ceremony. The last event was the official dinner party at the hotel.
