Did You Know...

... that the PD Factory team won a lot of cash and is featured in the new PD Calendar 2007?

PD/Fastrax Challenge
posted Jan 12th, 2007 - The NSL News story on January 8 covered a Canopy Piloting competition in Melbourne Beach. The NSL News followed the 4-way world and national champions, Shannon Pilcher, Ian Bobo and Jonathan Taggle (DeLand Fire, DeLand Groove) on their trip to the Sebastian Inlet with the PD Factory Team.

The story included interviews with the PD Factory team members, and the NSL News also spoke with Sinapsi PD member Pete Allum and Team Fastrax member Kaz Sheekey. The official results of the competition were not available at the time when the story was published.

Overall Class winners
The NSL News now follows up with the scores. The three 4-way and swooping experts of the PD Factory Team positioned themselves once again in the top positions of the money meet. Shannon Pilcher took the 3rd place in the overall rankings after seven rounds (two speed rounds, two accuracy rounds, two longjumps, one distance) and won $1,000 cash.

Ian Bobo ended up right behind his teammate in 4th place of 26 competitors in the Pro Class of the PD/Fastrax Pro Beach Challenge 2007. He took home a cash amount of $900. DeLand Fire's and Groove's videographer Jonathan Taggle finished in 6th place and won $600.

PD Factory Team member Jay Moledzki won the Overall competition and the $3,000 for the 1st place. DeLand swooper and new Brazilian Canopy Piloting champion Marat "Maha" Leiras took the 2nd place and $1,500. Fastrax member Kaz Sheekey, one of two female swoopers in the Open Class, ended up in 8th place and won $400.

Newcomer Pete Allum, a 4-way veteran, ended up in the middle of the field (14th), one place behind Chris Hayes, whose company "Getsum" had managed the event. The first ten positions in the overall class had prize money tagged to the placement, and nine of the money winners used a PD Velocity. The details of the results can be viewed by clicking here.

The PD Factory Team is also featured in the new PD Calendar 2007. The annual collection of beautiful skydiving pictures is now available and has been added to the line of items for sale in the NSL Shop.
