... that the last meet videos of the FSL April meet complete the coverage?

posted May 14th, 2007 - The remaining two rounds of the FSL April meet have now been uploaded. Norway's national 4-way team Arcteryx added a 21-pointer for Round 5 (18-O-K-N) and an 18-pointer for Round 6 (21-J-Q-15) to the total and finished the 6-round competition in Lake Wales with a 20.8 average.

The Arcteryx 2007 line-up, with Derek Broughton (Point), Tore Buer (Center Inside), Ole Petter Hjelle (Tail), Ditta Valsdottir (Center Outside) and Mikjel Skurdal (Camera) continued with the team's scoring progression and improved the meet average from 19.7 at the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2007 in March to 20.8 after the 6-round meet in April.

The Norwegian team has now completed the winter and spring camp in Florida and is on its way back to Europe. The first competition of the Norwegian 4-way cup series is on the May agenda, and the NSL News will follow up with scores and information.

The last two rounds of Teiwaz in the AAA Class and FSC Wind Damaged in the AA Class are now available on NSL-TV, as well. All competition videos of the FSL April meet can still be found on the separate NSL-TV page for the event. The FSL teams will visit Skydive City in Zephyrhills this weekend since the May meet is already coming up.

FSC Wind Damaged finished the April meet on top of the AA Class leaderboard that included four teams from the Carolina Skydiving League. Round 5 brought another highscore for the Lake Wales team, while its meet average dropped after the 5-pointer in Round 6. The Donut exit had a bad impact on the score for the last round of the meet, as the video shows.

The upcoming weekend will feature the same competition between the teams from Florida and Carolina. In addition, the MidAtlantic Skydiving League and the Virginia Parachute Council have scheduled their May meets for the same weekend. Teams from Denmark will complete the shape of the leaderboard. FSC Wind Damaged is eager to defend the top position and break through the 10-point barrier at the same time.
