Did You Know...

... that new NSL-TV videos feature Arizona Directe and Monkey Magic?

Superfly at the USPA Nationals 2002
posted Jun 15th, 2007 - NSL-TV managed to upload two more videos with the help of Randy Romero, the host for the NSL-TV files. Randy Romero is a passionate 4-way fan who competed with team Superfly (Billy Andrews, Larry Sawyer, Randy Romero, Valerie Walton, Chris Williams on camera) at the Florida Skydiving League meets in 2002 and at the USPA Nationals the same year.

His teammate Billy Andrews joined Team Fastrax later on and won a 4-way bronze medal in the AAA/Open Class competition at the USPA Nationals 2004. He left Fastrax at the end of the 2005 season. Randy Romero's other teammate of 2002, Valerie Walton, is now his wife, and the couple has two young children.

Randy Romero has not been training and competing ever since his team discontinued. Job career and the growing family have kept him busy enough. However, he is still the same passionate 4-way fan and kindly provides server space for the NSL-TV files, which require a lot of storing capacities.

Monkey Magic's Round 6 at the Grand Prix meet last weekend - see video
The latest videos feature jumps of the same meet weekend on June 2. Monkey Magic represents the A Class and provided the meet video of Round 6 in the United Kingdom. It was the last official round of the meet, and Monkey Magic tied the highscore of the round with the Swedish team Airgangband.

The meet was not over for the British team. Three teams were tied in 3rd place after six rounds at the second Grand Prix event of the 2007 season. Monkey Magic tied the highscore again in Round 7, the first jump-off round, and finally broke the remaining tie with the last resisting British A Class team Qi in Round 8, the second jump-off round.

Arizona Directe's Round 1 on June 2 in Perris - see video
The second new meet video was provided by Arizona Directe's team videographer Gordon Lindsay. The two videos of Round 1 by Canada's team Evolution and Arizona Directe now offer the opportunity to compare the two teams directly with each other.

Arizona Directe won the meet opener by one point over Evolution and Storm with a 23-pointer. Evolution won the 6-round meet by three points over the team from Arizona that competed in California on June 2. Enjoy the new videos.
