... that new NSL-TV features Round 1 of last weekend's competition?
posted Jun 20th, 2007 -
Last weekend's leaderboard is now complete. The scores of nine teams from the Carolina Skydiving League have been added, and it includes the first meet results in 2007 of the Army's female line-up. The NSL News will follow up with more detailed information very soon.
In the meantime, NSL-TV has gone back to normal operation, and the first videos of the Florida Skydiving League competition in DeLand have been uploaded. Round 1 is now featured and shows the first of three sequences with three blocks in the AAA Class competition.
Teiwaz' Round 1 at the FSL meet last weekend - see video
Teiwaz presents the AAA Class sequence for Round 1. Only three AAA Class teams competed last weekend, and each of them had to accept a lower meet average due to the slow competition draw. Teiwaz had Kris Byrne back in the line-up last weekend, and she did the center work together with her husband Bob Byrne.
Kris Byrne has been in the Point slot at several previous Teiwaz competitions, the slot that she had when she competed with Elsinore Select at the World Meet 2006 in Germany. She moved from Point to Center Outside while Bob Byrne switched to the rear piece and took the driver's seat.
Thiago Muradas had filled the Center Inside slot for the Z-Team in May and was now the Point for Teiwaz last weekend. Kurt Gaebel competed in the Tail position. Chris Williams filmed the team in DeLand.
FSC Wind Damaged's Round 1 at the FSL meet last weekend - see video
FSC Wind Damaged presents the AA Class sequence for the new round of NSL-TV. The three AA Class teams from Florida opened the meet with 7-pointers, which were also tied by Fast Fockers and Carolina Fire at the third CASL meet of the 2007 season. Only Cross Keys Air Pollution of the MidAtlantic Skydiving League apparently ignored the technical challenges of the slow sequence (18-15) and won the round by three points with a 10-pointer.
Tunnel Chaos moved away from the other AA Class teams later on, as much as Air Pollution distanced itself from Tunnel Chaos already in the first round of the meet.
ZT Mal4mations' Round 1 at the FSL meet last weekend - see video
The Z-Team had Christine Freiherr back in the Center Inside position and still had to replace another team player last weekend. Laura Sang had injured her elbow in a bicycle accident last week and was unable to compete in DeLand. She still visited with her team and helped her teammates by providing water and snacks, while Kyle Thomas competed in her slot. The Z-Team lineup of last weekend's competition managed to maintain the same scoring level (7.7 - 7.8) as at the May meet.
ZT Mal4mations presents the sequence of the A Class for round 1 (A-Q-O), which was identical with the Rookie Class. The Miami team and Meteor of the MidAtlantic Skydiving League both posted 8-pointers for Round 1. Both teams were still tied throughout Round 4 before ZT Mal4mations took control and won by five points.
Miami Vice's Round 1 at the FSL meet last weekend - see video
Florida's new Rookie Class team, Miami Vice, presents the identical Rookie Class sequence for Round 1 and ended up in the middle of the 5-team field after six rounds. Mile Hi Mayhem from Colorado outscored all five Rookie Class teams and tied the two 8-pointers of the A Class teams, as well. Enjoy the new NSL-TV videos.
