... that the March meet of the Southwest Skydiving League is now on NSL-TV?

posted Apr 23rd, 2005 - The NSL-TV has opened another series of competition jumps from a different event. The videos of the second meet of the Southwest Skydiving League 2005 season at Perris Valley Skydiving arrived in the NSL headquarters last week and are now ready to be uploaded, round by round.
Perris Fury's round one see video
Several teams are featured in this series, which did not the attend the SSL Valentine's Meet 2005 in February and also missed the third SSL meet in Eloy. The second SSL meet in March ran parallel with the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2005 in DeLand. The NSL-TV coverage of this event is already at round five. The SSL-TV will now begin to catch up.

All four AAA Class teams were Perris home teams. Perris Storm was the only team that had already attended the season opener in Eloy in February and finished the Perris meet with exactly the same point average of 10.3 as in Eloy. Perris Fury was the strongest AAA Class team at the SSL March meet and finished with a 16.0 average. Fury consists of player coach Dan BC (Inside Center), Christy Frikken (Outside Center), Josh Hall (Point), Uli Steuwe (Tail) and Karen Lewis (Video). The Perris Rebels made the team's first appearance in the AAA Class after competing in the AA Class throughout the 2004 season.

Elsinore Alloy's round one see video
The AA Class competition in Perris had only one home team with Perris Quest. Two teams from Skydive Elsinore took the first two places in this competition class. Winner Elsinore Alloy consists of player coach John Hamilton (Outside Center), Terry Seaworth (Inside Center), Caitie Unkovic (Point), Morgan Dunn (Tail), Pat Newman (Video) and finished with a 10.0 meet average. Elsinore Equinox took the second place in the AA Class with a 9.7 meet average. The guest team from Japan, Japanese Shooting Star, placed third with a 8.3 meet average.
Elsinore Momentum's round one see video
One team signed up for the A Class with eight blocks in the dive pool. It was another team from Skydive Elsinore that competed in Perris and indirectly with three other A Class teams in Georgia and Florida. Elsinore Momentum consists of Tom Allen (Tail), Chuck Reilly (Outside Center), Brian Sawatsky (Inside Center), Ed Souza (Point). Paul Quade was filming the team in Perris. Momentum had a very tight competition with Zero Tolerance Miami in Florida (26 - 4.3) and the Wissota Shockers in Georgia (23 - 3.8) and took the second place that weekend with 24 points and a 4.0 average.

The NSL-TV will begin with the coverage of the third SSL meet very soon, stay tuned.
