Did You Know...

... that HayaBusa Defence added energy in Round 6?

posted Oct 19th, 2007 - The NSL News continues with the coverage of the 4th CISM Military World Games in India before moving on to other interesting topics. The duel between Hayabusa Defence and the Golden Knights is exciting enough for an ongoing coverage, and Danny Jacobs continues to send the latest meet videos of the Belgian team.

This time, the HayaBusa video of Round 6 is available, and David Grauwels also knew the score of the Golden Knights (31) after watching the jump. However, the official website of the event is very late with posting the scores and currently shows only the leaderboard after Round 4.

Unofficial scores after Round 6 at the 4th CISM Military World Games in India
The HayaBusa video allows the viewer to use a stopwatch and make a qualified guess of the score. It seems as if the Belgian team might have its 32nd scoring point within working time, which would give back the sole lead to HayaBusa Defence.

David Grauwels and his teammates followed through on the conclusion that they drew after giving up Round 5 and the 3-point lead yesterday. HayaBusa looked more aggressive compared to the previously shown videos. It must have been challenging for Tail Roy Janssen who woke up with a headache and sinus problems and had to see the meet doctor for medication.

He had to get through only one jump, and it worked well in Round 6. HayaBusa used additional energy, and David Grauwels reported happy team vibrations:

Hayabusa Defence's Round 6 at the CISM 2007 - see video
"We knew after yesterday that we had to go full throttle, no more limits, just like we want it. If we skydive too defensively, then we cannot keep up. But if we skydive like maniacs, ooh lalala... Our Round 6 was perfect, we didn't make one mistake, and our Photons were on the right speed level. But what really did it was our random work. That definitely made the difference."

The female teams have finished seven rounds of the 8-round competition in the meantime. The US Army team is ten points ahead of Norway's Valkyrie (151 - 141) and performs on a 21.6 average level so far.
