Cold morning for Kaleidoscope Divers in DeLand
It was a very cold start on Friday morning in DeLand. Florida weather brought a cold front to the Kaleidoscope Divers already on Thursday evening. The skies very perfectly clear, but wind and very cold temperatures did not make the first jump a very pleasant experience.
Pickup after long spot
The 104 Kaleidoscope Divers had to change their clothing, and the jumping conditions were challenging. However, the 104-way was once again completed in a clean and successful skydive, even though there was no time for a transition. The cold temperatures and additional clothing seemed to slow down the pace of the whole group.

The first spot was also very long, and even the strong winds did not bring every parachute back to the dropzone. It took a while until the helping hands had collected all Kaleidoscope Divers.

The spirits were still on a high level since the jump was clean and the temperatures were going up minute by minute. There was also a lot of coffee that the Perfect Spot was brewing after the first jump, and it helped to keep warm. The Kaleidoscope Divers are currently getting ready for the second jump on Friday, which brings a new dive design to the group.
