... that the Kaleidoscope 2007 signature dive was completed on Sunday?

The Kaleidoscope Divers added another five jumps to their account on Saturday. The main focus of the day was on the signature dive of SkyQuest 2007, which served as the outline for the design of this year's shirts. Solly Williams presented the front design of the new shirt. Skydive DeLand and UPT's Micron sponsored the Kaleidoscope 2007 shirts.
The first jump in the morning was another effort to improve the previous pictures of the "Snake" design. The pretty and challenging shape of the first formation and the move of the "Snake" to become a large Star made this jump probably the highlight of the Kaleidoscope Dives 2007.
The NBC News station of Central Florida will use this design for a short coverage in the 6 pm news. Videos of the "Snake" dive can be viewed at the SkyQuest 2007 website.
The other four jumps on Saturday belonged to this year's signature dive. The third attempt was successful and provided images of a well shaped formation. Gustavo Cabana from Argentine, who currently lives and works in Ampuriabrava, Spain, filmed the "Snake" and the big "Snowflake" from below and provided the images.
One grip was still missing on Saturday afternoon, and the Kaleidoscope Divers insisted on another attempt Sunday morning. The first jump with a 7:30 am take-off brought the complete formation, and BJ Worth and his team captains moved on to the next design.
Saturday was also the time for the last and ultimate 4-way showdown between Optic Nerve and Teiwaz this year. Both teams completed seven rounds while the Kaleidoscope Divers debriefed and prepared their jumps. The NSL News will follow up on this special 4-way feature later.
