Did you know that round one of the new SSL-TV shows very busy Perris Fury members? posted: Jun 3rd, 2006 The video footage of the Southwest Skydiving League's May meet has arrived, and NSL-TV did not hesitate to process and upload the first round Friday afternoon. Unfortunately, the videos of UK's national team in the Women's category, Perris AirKix, are the only ones missing. The different recording format, the European PAL system, was probably the obstacle.
However, the other jumps provide the overview of how the SSL teams performed in May, including the top scorer, Elsinore Gravity. It was not the greatest start into the competition for Lou Ascione (Inside Center), Melanie Curtis (Point), John... (more)
Did you know that Elsinore Gravity and UK Perris AirKix sent strong messages from Perris? posted: May 22nd, 2006 The first big multi-league meet weekend of the 2006 season has been completed. The scores of 48 teams are already posted, and three leagues will provide their updates very soon. One of the meets in Europe was completely weathered out, as Gerhard Schut reported from the Netherlands:
"This weekend we made an attempt to launch the first competition of the Dutch Handicap Cup 2006. Three teams had registered for the A Class competition, Alles is Relatief, 4 Get-it and Tuthola's. We had some cancelations beforehand due to team changes and injuries. Unfortunately, the weather did not really cooperate... (more)
Did you know that the SSL tie-breaker in round six is now on NSL-TV? posted: May 1st, 2006 Round six of the Southwest Skydiving League's April meet concludes the NSL-TV coverage of this event.
The 4-team competition in the AAA/Open Class ended with a "tie-breaker" between Elsinore Gravity and Thunder. The battle between both teams had gone back and forth throughout the first five rounds and was tied before going into round six. The slow and technical sequence (19-11-18) was not really perfectly suited to break a tie. (more)
Did you know that Elsinore Gravity and Thunder were tied again after round five? posted: Apr 28th, 2006 NSL-TV is back after a short break and resumes with round five of the Southwest Skydiving League's April meet. The horse race between Elsinore Gravity and Thunder in the AAA/Open Class continued as seen before. The sequence was again on the faster side (J-P-C-3), however, these two AAA/Open Class teams were locked into each other and did not let go. As in the faster round three, none of the teams could gain more than a 1-point advantage. Thunder won round five by this one point, and the... (more)

Did you know that Arizona Divewerkz posted a new team record in round three? posted: Apr 21st, 2006 It becomes more and more difficult for NSL News and NSL-TV to keep up with the pace of the league. Scores, information, photos, videos keep coming in at the NSL headquarters. The coverage of a meet weekend can hardly be completed before the next meet weekend begins. And this is only the beginning of the season.
Only NSL News and NSL-TV together makes already for a full-time job, and the NSL headquarters is still only a 1-person operation. Lack of resources does not allow the NSL to hire staff. However, there are little things that can still help a lot to provide more information for the NSL... (more)
