News Article Did you know that Flying Circus finished with another team record average this week?
posted: Jan 13th, 2017 The Flying Circus of the Hurricane Factory in Prague, Czech Republic, is a well-known name in the 4-way world by now, and the young team continues to make the headlines month by month. It happened again this week that Flying Circus increased the performance level and finished with a new team record average. This is nothing unusual, as the chart with all of the team's indoor scores is showing it clearly. There has hardly ever been a point in time when the scores of the last meet were not higher than at the previous ones. The chart of all indoor scores with decreasing meet averages is misleading,... posted: Nov 8th, 2016 Skydiving Magazine's founder Mike Truffer had created the SKYDIVER OF THE YEAR award many years before he discontinued editing the very popular magazine and before dying in a skydiving accident in 2013. Mike Truffer had rewarded skydivers with the trophy who contributed in special ways to the sport. His Skydiving Magazine partner Sue Clifton decided in 2015 to donate the remaining Skydiver of the Year trophies to the National Skydiving League. She did not have any requirements for the future use of the awards and left the new purpose up to the NSL. The NSL decided to follow Mike Truffer's... (more)

It turned out that six 4-way teams competed in three of the four categories. It was not only the great participation from the Czech Republic that caught the attention of the Sun Path Products NSL News. The passionate Czech 4-way community, with godfather Jan Klapka in the Bad Boys lineup, also had a very busy spring schedule. Most of the Czech teams in Bedford participate in the monthly race for the Indoor Cloud League leaderboard. The... (more)
