Have you heard that Shamrock Showdown teams won $2,400 at Skydive DeLand? posted: Mar 18th, 2024 Several other events took place while the Shamrock Showdown 2024 deserved all attention by the NSL News. The coming days will be a combination of the other events' coverage and plenty of aftermath of the outdoor competition at Skydive DeLand. The Shamrock Showdown included once again the popular Skins Game, which was created as a special attraction for all participating teams. Skydive DeLand sponsored the Shamrock Showdown 2024 with cash prizes for the category winners and with an additional purse of $1,000 for the Skins Game.

Have you heard that Day 2 at the Shamrock Showdown brings a Super Sequence in Round 9? posted: Mar 16th, 2024 The unfortunate personnel change in the French Aethers lineup, due to Tom Mattoni's injury, seems to have a slight impact on the performance and scoring level, as it had to be expected. Alternate and substitute Mathieu Bernier at least helps to keep the team at approximately a similar distance to Arizona Airspeed as the complete Aethers lineup had it last time at the 23rd FAI World Cup of Formation Skydiving.
Airspeed were 12 points ahead of Aethers after Round 6 in Norway, and the distance was 21 points at the end of the first competition day at the Shamrock Showdown 2024. Round 1 initiated... (more)
Have you heard that NSL Live Talk features French 4-way Women team Nephtys? posted: Mar 14th, 2024 Round 1 of the Shamrock Showdown 2024 is only one day away, and Thursday was a busy training and warm-up day at Skydive DeLand. The competition draw in the evening was the last step before the start of the competition on Friday morning.
Arizona Airspeed and France Aethers will be in the first load of the competition together, and a new colorful Teiwaz lineup joins the world's currently two best teams in the same Twin Otter. Have you heard that Arizona Airspeed is in Shamrock training with new team videographer Alex Swindle? posted: Mar 13th, 2024 Tom Mattoni is back in France where the medical examination is waiting and the rehabilitation begins. National coach Mathieu Bernier is taking his outside center slot, and he is also using his jumpsuit.
Mathieu Bernier is not only a 4-way and 8-way world champion and will fill the slot adequately. He has also selected the current lineup and guided the Aethers to the highest level in horizontal 4-way Formation Skydiving competition. He knows the team and the members like nobody else and will probably gather even more information by training and competing with them.

Have you heard that Mathieu Bernier is back in action for the French national team? posted: Mar 12th, 2024 Round 1 of the Shamrock Showdown 2024 is only three days away, and the French national teams in 4-way Open (Aethers) and 4-way Women (Nephtys) are both in full training swing at Skydive DeLand, with supervision by their national coach Mathieu Bernier.
They had completed over 30 training jumps on their third day at Skydive DeLand and had two more days on the agenda before taking a break on Wednesday. The weather situation has been in support of the training efforts, and the forecast for the Shamrock Showdown competition days indicates a completion of the ten rounds on the scheduled meet days,... Have you heard that Thyra meet Nephtys again at the Shamrock Showdown? posted: Mar 7th, 2024 Norway's national indoor championship last weekend brought the original lineup of the DeLand Norgies back together. It was in July 2017 when this happened the last time at the national outdoor championship, and they won without serious opposition. It was two years before original Norgies member Carl-Erik Tuv initiated a new team project that generated the current national teams, Agera in 4-way Open and Thyra in 4-way Women.
The Norgies continued their annual reunions after the pandemic and with different variations of the lineups. They defended the national 4-way outdoor title one more time... (more)
