posted: May 24th, 2006 The New England Skydiving League successfully launched its 2006 season last weekend, even though the conditions were not perfect at all. The NSL News story on January 19 had posted the exciting news that USPA's 2006 Advanced Class champion, Mass Defiance, would re-activate the league this year. The story on April 8 followed up with additional information. Last Saturday was the opening day for the league and its new leadership, and the teams and competitors in New England followed the call for action despite unfavorable weather conditions. posted: Apr 8th, 2006 The NSL News story on January 19 announced plans of last year's USPA Advanced Class champion, Mass Defiance, to re-activate the New England Skydiving League. Mass Defiance and NESL Director Beth Murray followed up on these plans, and the schedule for the four meets of the regular season has been posted for a while. The USPA Champion of the Advanced Class in 2005, Mass Defiance, prepares to re-launch the New England Skydiving League, together with former NESL Director Beth Murray. Mass Defiance member Ben Liston brought up the subject already in September 2005 and explained the desire of the 4-way fans in New England to join the network of the National Skydiving League. News Article Did you know that Impulse Rhode Island improved their average at Skydive New England?
posted: Jul 25th, 2000 Robbie Spencer's team Impulse Rhode Island keeps charging toward the top of the leaderboard of the Eastern Skies. At last weekend's second season meet of the New England Skydiving League, Impulse won the Advanced Class with a 12.2 average. The new team's season average of 11.6 is tying the FSL team Zephyrhills Frost in 4th place of the Eastern Skies. With these results, Impulse are slowly putting themselves in a position of medal contention at this year's USPA Nationals. News Article Did you know that the New England Skydiving League has posted rules and basic information for the inaugural 2000 season?
posted: Mar 5th, 2000 The first set of NESL rules are following the basic outline of the National Skydiving League. They are specified according to the regional needs of the new league. The Pepperell Skydive Center and Skydive New England are the first hosts for two meets each. News Article Did you know that the New England Skydiving League is expecting a a very exciting inaugural 2000 season?
posted: Feb 12th, 2000 The new NESL Director Beth Murray has put together all the pieces in the beautiful New England area. Skydive New England and Pepperell Skydive Center are the first two hosts with two meets each. However, the new league is still open for other interested hosts, as well.
