News Article Did you know that the Northern California Skydiving League added a top contender to the AA Class rankings?
posted: Jul 1st, 2014 The Sun Path Products NSL News reported on 26 June 2014 that the AA Class scores of the June 21 weekend provided a preview of this year's competition at the USPA Nationals in the AA/Intermediate Class. It took only one week until the next AA Class team posted a 2-digit meet average, which indicates medal contention at the national championships. The Northern California Skydiving League completed its third meet this year last weekend, and Team Singularity finished with a 10.8 average. Singularity had launched the team's 2014 competition season with an 8.5 average at the Valentines Meet 2014... (more)

posted: May 27th, 2014 The Northern California Skydiving League (NCSL) continued its resurgence on Saturday May 24 with its second meet of the 2014 season at Skydance Skydiving. Though the day dawned warm and sunny, Mother Nature toyed with the teams a bit with moderately high, gusty winds, which eventually calmed down enough for everyone’s comfort, and the seven teams across three classes were easily able to complete their competition jumps by late afternoon. Meet Director Krisanne Combs didn’t have to make the call to put all the competitors on a wind hold after all. Two teams competed in the AA Class with... (more)

It was coincidence that both Californian leagues competed on the same weekend, as the meets are scheduled separately and independently by each participating league. Meet locations were Lodi and Perris, over 400 miles away from each other, and the weather was very different at both places. The teams in Perris... (more)

The Sun Path Products NSL News reported last year that plans were in the works to bring back 4way competition on a regular basis to the league that began their first activities in 2000. League director Lori Connor prepared her 4way community for the 2014 outdoor season with the Indoor Cloud League events at iFLY SF Bay throughout the winter. The story on 18 March 2014 followed up with a preview of the NCSL comeback this year. The 2014 season opener took place last weekend at Skydive Lodi, and seven teams came out to post... (more)

posted: Mar 18th, 2014 The Sun Path Products NSL News reported on 24 July 2013 that the Northern California Skydiving League had a comeback in 2013 with preparations for the first competition season this year. League Director Lori Connor soon joined the Indoor Cloud League with her NCSL group at iFLY SF Bay, as well, while she continued to make plans for the 2014 season. Regular updates with results from iFLY SF Bay followed, the last one on 4 March 2014.
