Did you know that NSL-TV went on a sightseeing tunnel tour in Bedford? posted: Apr 20th, 2007 The NSL News now goes back to the World Challenge 2007, while teams of the Florida Skydiving League and the Carolina Skydiving League prepare for the upcoming meet weekend.
The NSL-TV camera went on a short sightseeing tour at Bodyflight Bedford in the middle of Round 3. The tour included a few stops at different locations with a few words from some competitors. The filmed areas are all on the same level of the tunnel building where the entrance to the flying chamber is located. (more)
Did you know that Australia's team Airtite keeps moving Onwards and Upwards? posted: Apr 19th, 2007 The NSL News received an update from Australia where the national championship of 2007 was already held in March. The reigning Australian 4-way champion, Airtite, won again and for the 4th time since 2004.
Airtite consists of Jeremy Langford (Point), Gary Nemirovsky (Outside Center), Rob Tasic (Inside Center), Simon Disciassio (Tail) and Andy Oakley (Camera). The same line-up represented Australia at the World Meet 2006 in Germany.
This year's national championship was held on March 31 - April 6 at Sydney Skydivers, the location where the World Cup of Canopy Piloting will take place this... (more)

After reporting on Shannon Pilcher's new color of his house in DeLand on April 12, the NSL News received additional information of the interesting development in the Pilcher/Hjelle case.
PD Factory Team member and reigning 4-way world champion Shannon Pilcher and Norway's Arcteryx member Ole Petter Hjelle have possibly created a new saga that might offer similar entertainment as the Fun Flag has for many years.

Did you know that NSL-TV presents the first video of XL in action? posted: Apr 17th, 2007 The scores of the first California Skydiving League 2007 meet in Elsinore have already been posted.
The NSL News now continues with the coverage of the World Challenge 2007 while waiting for additional meet and team information and videos from California.
The NSL News stories on April 11 and April 13 already showed some video footage of the actual flying performances in the wind tunnel. The story on April 13 also included an attempt to capture the first reactions of Team Fastrax members right after the team's first round of the competition. (more)
Did you know that the California Skydiving League kicks off the 2007 season in Elsinore? posted: Apr 15th, 2007 This weekend brings the 2007 season opener of the California Skydiving League. The former Southwest Skydiving League was split into the California and the Arizona Skydiving League, as the NSL News story on January 25 reported.
The Arizona Skydiving League kicked off the 2007 season with the Valentine's Meet in February. Skydive Elsinore is now the host of the first meet in California.
The 2006 season in California featured the neck-to-neck race between Perris Fury and Elsinore Gravity. The NSL News covered this exciting 2-team competition in the AAA Class several times last year. It lasted... (more)
Did you know that NSL-TV filmed Fastrax' Round 1 all the way? posted: Apr 13th, 2007 The NSL News goes back to the World Challenge 2007, this time to the very beginning of the event. The wind tunnel competition offered a very unique situation. Observers could be really close to the actual action in the flying chamber. The camera for the judges had the same position as the videographer in freefall. However, the bare eyes could watch the teams perform from a much closer distance and with a 3-dimensional vision.
The NSL-TV camera cannot provide the 3-dimensional vision. It could still get close enough to capture very dynamic competition action from the perspective of the work level... (more)
