Did you know that 4Action and Aero Dynamics could be opponents and USPA medal contenders? posted: Jun 21st, 2024 Last weekend's leaderboards featured several potential medal contenders for this year's national outdoor championships. Paranodon's Futura 8 team won bronze medals in the RRR Class of the German Outdoor Nationals 2023. Paranodon's Futura 6.9 team, with former Airbus videographer Andreas Trögele and his son Julius in the lineup, placed 3rd at the German Indoor Nationals 2024 and will try to defend the position at the outdoor championship. Austrian team Black Mantis are back on their way... (more)
Did you know that German teams took the Top 2 positions in AAA last weekend? posted: Jun 20th, 2024 It was to be expected that Airbus Illertissen Oceanside, Germany's national team in 4-way Open, would win the Paranodon Cup 2024 and take the top spot on last weekend's AAA Class leaderboard. It could have been slightly different if the Dutch national team Out Of The Blue (OOTB) had attended this year's Tomscat Trophy in Hoogeveen, as both events applied the same competition draw of the NSL 4-way Network.
OOTB were a direct opponent for Airbus at the FAI Outdoor World Championships 2022 and at the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2023, and they finished not far from the German team at both events. However,... (more)
Did you know that FSZ Saar hosts the ESL Championship 2024? posted: Jun 20th, 2024 The Dutch teams were out of luck last weekend when teams in the United States, Germany and Netherlands created the four leaderboards by using the same competition draw of the NSL 4-way Network. The weather situation allowed only the completion of one single round in Hoogeveen.
The scores of the AAA Class teams behind German national 4-way teams Airbus Illertissen Oceanside and the substitute variation of Meltemi Oceanside Illertissen (Der Adapter) promised an interesting battle between the other German and Dutch teams and the guests from Austria, Black Mantis. Dutch A Class teams 4igami 2.0... (more)
Did you know that AeroDynamics impressed at the team's first outdoor competition? posted: Jun 17th, 2024 Sherry Butcher has been operating the AerOhio Skydiving Center for many years. She is also one of USPA's National Directors and Vice President of USPA's Board of Directors. At AerOhio she is the busiest AFF instructor and jumps as much as she can, including 4-way in any slot that she is required to fill, while she keeps her skydiving home in perfect shape.
The NSL News visited the AerOhio Skydiving Center when Ed Ganley launched the Great Lakes Skydiving League 2024 season last weekend. Sherry Butcher competed on Saturday with one of her local RRR Class teams in the tail slot and followed up... (more)
Did you know that the Golden Knights are ready to compete for CISM world championship medals? posted: Jun 16th, 2024 The NSL News has covered the military CISM world championships outside of the usual event format regularly in the past years. The last CISM championship took place in Austria 2022, where NMP PCH HayaBusa won the 15th consecutive set of CISM gold medals for Belgium.
The FAI/ISC 4-way world champions of 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2021 never had much serious opposition at the military events, even though the Qatar Tigers have moved closer to the top position year by year. The Tigers have been almost as safe in their 2nd place as NMP PCH HayaBusa in 1st place.
The 2022 event in Austria featured a... (more)

The two new HayaBusa members, Neal Willems and Ray Lodens, had competed at the BENELUX Indoor Championship, even though HayaBusa did not attend.
They reported from the event that they helped out for other teams instead, Ray Lodens with his brother's team Hybris, Neal Willems with Ayro. The NSL News followed up a week later when Ayro had decided to continue with a new team member after the great and latest 4-way experience... (more)
