News Article Did you know that the Valentine's/World Meet combination has scored five times since 1995?
posted: Jun 10th, 2011 The Midway Battle at Skydive Chicago is only a confrontation between the weather and the teams so far. There was one attempt to get a plane to jump altitude, which did not work out well. The whole load, including Arizona Airspeed, landed with the Twin Otter. The competitors on site have been entertaining themselves with playing games ever since, Thomas Hughes reported. Mark Kirkby mentioned that the competition draw is surely "middle of the road". There is no 3-block sequence, and none of the jumps has more than two random formations. Seven of the ten rounds begin with a block, and only three... (more)
News Article Did you know that an international meet weekend with Airspeed is coming up?
posted: Jun 9th, 2011 The upcoming meet weekend will be an exciting one. News Article Did you know that the Usual Suspects left the 14-average mark behind?
posted: Jun 6th, 2011 The Northern German Championship 2011 came to a happy end, even though the weather forecast was not very promising for Sunday. The five teams completed all ten rounds before pouring rain stopped the whole skydiving operation later in the afternoon. Final Four DeLand defended the title successfully and had the opportunity to impress the German 4-way community even more with good scores in the last three rounds. This story did not have a happy end though, as the team did not perform on the expected level and even lost one round to the Usual Suspects. On the other hand, the team in 2nd place... (more)
