It doesn't mean that the NSL News will be done looking at the leaderboard, the results and the stories of the meet. In fact, updates of the situation in 8-way after Menzelinsk will follow very soon.

Did you know that the New England team won the 16-way Rumble 2010? posted: Nov 10th, 2010 Ben Liston, former Mass Defiance member who has recently been training and competing with the Amphibious Attack Tigers in 4-way and Dallas Rogue in 8-way, is also organizing tunnel meets and now a new 16-way event. He recently provided a summary of the 16-way competition and announced the next tunnel meet at SkyVenture New Hampshire.
Over the first week of September, 68 jumpers on four different teams from around the country participated in the 16-way Rumble 2010. Ben Liston put together the event and organized the Connecticut Parachutist, Inc. team.

Did you know that Shannon Pilcher survived an accident in the Swiss Alpes? posted: Nov 9th, 2010 Shocking news for the Formation Skydiving community had just arrived from Australia last month after Fiona McEachern, Chair of IPC's Formation Skydiving Committee, had died in a midair collision on September 25.
November 3rd was another bad day for the same skydiving community and many more. Shannon Pilcher, 4-way world champion of 2006 with DeLand Fire, had a very serious accident in the Swiss Alpes. The good news is the fact that he has survived severe injuries and is recovering.

Did you know that Norway and the UK teams had internal battles in Menzelinsk? posted: Nov 8th, 2010 The NSL News goes back to the more recent history after the excursions to the very beginning of Formation Skydiving competition with Jerry Bird and earlier to the roots of Arizona Airspeed.
Rounds 7 and 8 of the female 4-way competition at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2010 have now been uploaded and are available for reviews.
The stories of the previous rounds explained that there was not really much competition in this category. All eight teams were in their final positions after Round 3, except Germany (ISB Air) and USA (Spaceland Blue). Those two teams battled for a little... (more)
Did you know that all Jerry Bird ever did was teams? posted: Nov 7th, 2010 The NSL News has recently gone quite far back in time during the coverage of the new Arizona Airspeed lineup. Mark Kirkby's new NSL Profile story did not only begin with the first Airspeed lineup of 1994. It also covered the earlier time in US Formation Skydiving competition after his arrival in California, including teams like the Gumbies and Airmoves.

Did you know that the 3rd Paraclete XP Indoor Skydiving Championships are scheduled for February 2011? posted: Nov 5th, 2010 Paraclete XP, the 16-foot wind tunnel in Raeford, North Carolina, began a series of events actually with an outdoor meet. The Paraclete XP Money Meet was held the first time in July 2007 only as an outdoor competition.
A year later, Tim D'Annunzio was ready to run the first big indoor competition. He combined Paraclete XP Money Meet and Indoor Skydiving Championships in June 2008 for a very intense weekend package. It was an international world class field that completed ten indoor and ten outdoor rounds in Raeford.
