Did you know that the ArchRivals are the US Rookie Class team of the year? posted: Oct 8th, 2010 Two US teams are currently tied in 1st place for the honor of the busiest Rookie Class team in 2010. The regular season is over for the ArchRivals in the Midwest Skydiving League, while the Miami Dropouts have one more opportunity to get meet practice before the NSL Championship concludes the 2010 season at SkyQuest in November.

The story on 11 September 2010 had the defending champions as the topic, the SDC Furies, who were not eligible to compete again for USPA Advanced Class medals. The story on 20 September 2010 followed up with the new Advanced Class champion, Carolina Turbo XP.

Did you know that NSL-TV continues with the 8-way coverage of the World Meet in Menzelinsk? posted: Oct 6th, 2010 Die NSL News story on 4 August 2010 was still coming from Menzlinsk in Russia, as a part of the live coverage of the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2010.
The story included the first 8-way videos and featured Rounds 1 to 3 of the competition between the three top contenders, Aerodyne Cypres Maubeuge's 8-way lineup, the Golden Knights and Russia's Sky Panthers Barkli. Another story on 4 August 2010 followed up with the videos of Round 4.

Did you know that the skydiving world suffers a great loss: Fiona McEachern? posted: Oct 5th, 2010 The 25th of September was not a good day for the Formation Skydiving community.
Sad news came from Australia. Fiona McEachern, Chair of IPC's Formation Skydiving Committee, died after a midair collision that day.
The NSL News audience is familiar with Fiona McEachern's activities for the sport, as updates of rules and relevant information have been provided by her in the last decade.

Did you know that new NSL-TV CamScore videos feature several 8-way teams at the USPA Nationals 2010? posted: Oct 4th, 2010 The NSL News followed the 8-way Open Class competition at the USPA Nationals 2010 with two stories.
The first story on 13 September 2010 was posted after the 8-way teams had completed three rounds. The competition was still open at that time, even though it was almost impossible to imagine that Arizona Airspeed would be able to keep up with the Golden Knights.
It happened though, as Airspeed needed Round 1 to warm up and then tied the Golden Knights scores in Round 2 and Round 3. Things seemed to settle as expected when the US Army team won Round 4 and Round 5 by three points each. However,... (more)
