Did you know that Russia will have a new female lineup this year?
posted: May 9th, 2008 The NSL News story on 4 May 2008 covered the current situation in the female 4-way category. The article mentioned that there was still a questionmark behind the reigning bronze medalist of 2006, Russia. The Russian bronze medalist of the World Championship 2006 was Ladybirds (Elena Mazaeva, Anna Panasyuk, Larisa Sverdlenko, Ekaterina Voronina) with a 14.6 average after five rounds in Germany. Russia is also the reigning silver medalist of the FAI World Cup in Russia 2007. Did you know that Blaze and Sequence from Denmark are the busiest teams so far?
posted: May 8th, 2008 The next series of NSL-TV videos has been uploaded, and it features Round 4 of the FSL April meet. Once again, these videos include the four national teams (Norway Arcteryx, Canada Evolution, Danish Blaze, USA Fastrax Blue) from the Pilatus Porter. It is also the third consecutive round of 22-pointers between Evolution and Arcteryx. (more)

Did you know that Perris Fury experienced an unplanned hybrid dive?
posted: May 7th, 2008 The beginning of the 2008 season has already been quite busy for Perris Fury. The NSL News has covered the team activities with several stories. Most of them were related to the two meets that the California team has attended so far, the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2008 and the World Challenge 2008. The Fury members also attended the first meet of the California Skydiving League 2008 season in Elsinore. Josh Hall competed with the Founding Fathers, Chris Farina and Christy Frikken were player coaches for Perris 4Shock. The previous articles mostly provided general thoughts and specific advice for the beginnings of a team career. Did you know that new scores from Italy come with good news for the Spin Team?
posted: May 5th, 2008 The new leaderboard of last weekend's events is already complete and includes team names from Denmark (10), Italy (7) and Finland (4). Italy adopted three competition classes of the NSL Network (AAA - AA - A) with the decision of the national association (FIPaS) in 2007, and it was a successful move. The first meet of the 2008 season in April in Casale was still a small event, also due to a bad weather situation. The second meet last weekend in Verona already attracted seven teams to compete in the three competition classes. The new A Class was the most popular one with four teams attending... (more)

posted: May 4th, 2008 The 2008 season has already brought many interesting scores of national teams to the leaderboards of the several indoor and outdoor events. The NSL News has covered the run-up to the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2008 in August in France with many stories, mostly of the Open Class situation. Several national teams that compete in IPC's female 4-way category have posted scores at the same events, as well.
