News Article Did you know that NSL Reality TV features Just4Fun's Round 7?
posted: Apr 8th, 2012 The scores of the female 4way competition at the World Challenge 2012 were the last ones that were posted yesterday. Just4Fun won by two points after a great last round by Aerodyne Deep Blue Defenders. The NSL News mentioned earlier that another controversial issue occured when the UK team was granted a re-flying session in Round 7. It went by almost unnoticed since the flying session was squeezed in out of the usual flying order of the teams. The Just4Fun score for Round 7 went from 21 to 24, wich was brought to the NSL News attention later on. The NSL Reality TV video of Round 7 shows what... (more)
News Article Did you know that the Round 5 videos come with new NSL Talk and Black Majick?
posted: Apr 7th, 2012 The latest NSL Reality TV clip shows the teams in Round 5. NMP-PCH Hayabusa completed once again the highest number of points within working time and left two of them in the judging room. The 28-pointer was still good enough to tie the highscore for the round with Aerodyne Aerokart and Arizona Airspeed who lost one point. The French national team is still working on the impressive comeback while Airspeed just cannot get any closer to the Belgium team so far. Hyrrokkin is still holding on to the first place in the AA Class. The lineup includes James Wood in the Point slot who is Katie Woods'... (more)
News Article Did you know that the Fun Flag has been flying since the completion of Round 4?
posted: Apr 6th, 2012 The sequence of Round 3 was a slower one with three blocks, and not much would change on the top of the leaderboard. NMP-PCH Hayabusa completed once again the highest number of points within working time, as the Belgian team has done in each round so far, and also posted the highest score after judging for the third consecutive time. However, Belgium lost one point, Arizona Airspeed two, and Aerodyne Aerokart now had two clean rounds without a point deduction. It is quite amazing how it is possible that the French team was so "out of control" in Round 1 and could then recover so quickly without... (more)
News Article Did you know that four teams scored 20 points or higher in Round 6?
posted: Aug 4th, 2011 There were only four teams in Round 6 with scores of 20 points or higher. Of course, Aerodyne Aerokart and NMP-PCH Hayabusa were two of them, both with 25-pointers. The French national team maintained the 3-point lead. The other two teams posted 20-pointers, Gradient Alpha in the Open Class and Aerodyne Deep Blue Defenders in the female 4way category. The NSL News mentioned earlier that the French ladies were only three points behind the bronze medal position in the Open Class after Round 6. Stefan Brueck once again provided the NSL News with the videos of those four jumps in Round 6, which... (more)
News Article Did you know that UK delegation launched a "Free the Fun Flag" campaign?
posted: Aug 4th, 2011 It is about time for a Fun Flag update. The NSL News has been very patient so far, even though the third day of the competition has gone by without any sighting of the Fun Flag, neither in the spectator area nor in Tent City. Sevel teams and competitors have been highly aware of the Fun Flag situation and were looking forward to the event, like a member of the UK delegation prior to the event: "I only recently heard about the Fun Flag, but I will make sure that the UK challenges for it. It takes a bit of subtlety to get it I reckon, but anyone who knows me knows that “subtlety” is my middle... (more)
News Article Did you know that Joey Jones, Marin Ferré, Andy Delk and Gary Smith attended the first Coaches Corner?
posted: Aug 4th, 2011 The first Coaches Corner NSL Talk at the World Cup 2011 was held yesterday when it was not raining. The sky was overcast and did not provide the best backdrop. However, NSL Talk ist mostly about hearing what the skydive VIPs and celebrities have to say. Two of the coaches are directly involved in the female 4way competition, which naturally became a topic of the conversation. (more)
